| Do I need a passport or visa to travel to Brazil? |
Everyone needs a passport to travel to Brazil. Visitors from many places, including the United States, also require a visa, which can only be obtained from a Consulate of Brazil. |
| |
| Do I need travel insurance? |
If you would like to prevent losses associated with trip cancellation or interruption, medical expenses and evacuation, baggage loss, or other mishap, we strongly recommend travel insurance. |
| |
| Where should I stay? |
Na Roda classes take place, with rare exception, in the area of Zona Sul around Catete and Laranjeiras. This is not a major tourist hub, which is nice in many ways, but hotels are relatively few.
Consider a home stay in a local apartment if you are learning Portuguese and wish to get to know more locals. |
| |
| Can I book my air travel or sightseeing tour with Na Roda? |
Na Roda is not a travel agent and cannot book or sell air tickets or other travel packages. We only provide music education experiences and, as a convenience, hotel bookings and airport arrival transfers. |

| Does Na Roda offer lessons or workshops outside of Rio de Janeiro? |
We will try to accommodate special requests for instruction outside of Rio. In the future, we also hope to provide "virtual classroom" offerings to anywhere. |
| |
| What should I bring to Brazil? |
Not too much. We advise travelling light. Remember that you can most types of instruments can be borrowed from instructors or Na Roda staff. |
| |
| What should I leave at home? |
Your expensive instrument, your nice watch, and anything else that is too precious to risk leaving behind. |
